Day 1 - Sunday, March 11, 2012

Today was a Young Women (YW) lesson about personal history.  Sister Katie Kunzelman taught the lesson.  She gave another idea for documenting that wouldn't take too much time.  She showed us a scrapbook a friend of hers made that was a year of photos.  So basically she took a photo every day of her life and wrote something about it.  Katie had recommend that the YW journal writing was more than who they liked or why their parents were so not fair.  She suggested using this as a guide "How have you seen the hand of the Lord today." So this made me come up with a Year of Gratitude.

I have had a hard year focusing on what is lacking in my life.  My infertility issues have really hit hard this time.  I previously dealt with it by focusing on what I do have, i.e. all my nieces and nephews, but I have been struggling this year.  So, I decided this was something I really needed to do.

Today's gratitude should be obvious, it goes to Katie for an awesome lesson that inspired this to start.
